Hey there, if you want to get to know me a little bit better, kindly read on. If not, what are you doing on my website in the first place...?
I'm originally from Warwick, Rhode Island but have been living in NY for the past 10 years. I started singing in my mom's church at around age 5. And at age 8, got my first taste of live theater when I nabbed my first speaking role: “Elderly Man”. Thus began my dynamic career of playing characters that are not even remotely close to my age.
I earned a BA in Theatre at Boston College where I played a number of elderly individuals (and one or two in their 50s,) and put my voice to use in an a cappella group. I also worked as a seamstress in the costume shop and garnered a deep appreciation for costume & makeup design.
Since moving to New York I've been creating & collaborating nonstop! Some highlights from my time here include: completing the two year Acting Program at the William Esper Studio, writing & starring in my first (award winning) short film, developing a passion for raising awareness about and eliminating stigma around eating disorders, writing a series about my journey to eating disorder recovery, costume designing two short films, and completing the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Kripalu.
I feel most comfortable on sets (or stages) that prioritize diversity both behind and in front of the camera (or stage). On the rare occasion that I'm not moving around completing a "to do" list longer than my forearm, you can find me binge watching episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".
